Privacy Policy

tinytextgen.com is a set of text tools built to respect your privacy by design. Everything that matters — the actual conversion of your text — happens entirely inside your own browser. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what that means and which third parties are involved.

The text you convert

Whatever you type or paste into any tool on this site is processed locally in your browser using a simple character map. It is never sent to a server, never uploaded, and never stored. When you close or reload the page, it is gone. We have no database of your text because we never receive it.

No accounts, no advertising or cross-site tracking

You do not need an account to use anything here. We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies, we do not sell any data, and we do not build marketing profiles of visitors. We do set two first-party analytics cookies, described honestly in the Analytics section below.

Saved favorites (local only)

On the font tool you can star styles you like. That preference is saved in your browser's own localStorage so the tool remembers it next visit. We store only which style names you starred — never the text you type — and this never leaves your device or reaches any server. It is not a cookie and is not used for tracking. Clear it any time by un-starring the styles or clearing this site's data in your browser.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools, and they behave differently — the distinction is worth stating plainly.

Cloudflare Web Analytics records aggregate figures like page views and referrers. It sets no cookies at all and does not identify you.

Google Analytics 4 tells us how the site is actually used — how long a page holds attention, whether people move on to a second tool, which pages get abandoned. To do that it sets two first-party cookies on this domain:

  • _ga — distinguishes one browser from another, expires after 2 years
  • _ga_8JZSL89CSX — keeps a visit stitched together as one session, expires after 2 years

These are statistics cookies, not advertising ones. They are set under tinytextgen.com rather than a third-party ad domain, we have not enabled Google Signals or ads personalisation, and the data is not used to target you anywhere else on the web. Google nonetheless processes this data on its own infrastructure under its own privacy policy, and your IP address is part of what it receives.

The text you type is never sent to Google. Analytics sees which page you opened, not what you converted on it.

If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on, and blocking cookies for this site — or any content blocker — stops the measurement without breaking a single tool. Every tool here works exactly the same with analytics blocked.

Hosting & server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and served through Cloudflare's global network. Like virtually all web infrastructure, Cloudflare may automatically log standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) for security, abuse prevention and reliability. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Fonts

Page fonts are self-hosted — served directly from this domain alongside the rest of the site, not from a third-party font service. Displaying the site therefore involves no request to Google Fonts or any other outside font provider, so no font company receives your IP address or sees that you visited.

Links to other sites

Our guides may link to external sites (for example, platform help pages). Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies — we are not responsible for their practices.

Children

These tools are general-purpose and not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we add a feature that changes how data is handled — for example, advertising — we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before the feature goes live.
